Kit List
The following items are recommended for the Venturer Canoe and Hiking Kit list. Whilst you might have personal requirements and might want additional items, it is recommended that you use this list as a guideline for what you take with you.
Venturer Trails are normally run during the cooler months when the nights can become cold and this kit list takes that into account. If you are taking part in an out of season trail (i.e. summer months) please be aware that the need for certain items would change accordingly.
Please keep your personal kit to a minimum as space is naturally at a premium. We provide a 25 liter water tight bucket into which all your gear, apart from sleeping bag, will be packed. Keeping your packing compact and down to the bare neccesities is usually a good way to start. If in doubt about something, please do not hesitate to ask your guide at the pre-trip briefing - we might already be taking what you need.
