Trip Description

For those seeking variety in their holiday, the Venturer trail offers a diverse range of fun filled activities.

Starting out in canoes, we paddle for 2½ days (40km) down the lower Augrabies section of the majestic Orange River.

Swopping "Boats" for "Boots", we trek for 2½ days (30km) through open grasslands, canyons and koppies south of the Orange River.

This singularly unusual safari is an unforgettable adventure into an area of compelling beauty and stark scenic splendour. No previous experience is required, but well worn in walking shoes/boots and rucsacs are essential.
